Well took it to a body guy I know , he looked it over and said 10k wouldn’t come close to just getting it cleaned up and ready for paint . So now not sure what the plan is , I didn’t think it was that bad when I picked it up. I knew about the patch panel but it was late when I picked it up and spent all day in the sun pulling the 6.1 , I didn’t realize they just laid the panel on top and just tacked it in place. Also drip rail on pass side is done with some rust on roof so he said to replace entire roof

Well I should have went to get the car 1st instead of pulling an engine then I wouldn’t have been dehydrated and would have looked the car over a lot better . At this point not sure if I want to dump 2k in body panels plus at least 10k in labor and body work not including paint

Well I ended up selling the car above pretty much right after I bought it . Took me till just last week to find a new car but the wait was well worth it 68 coronet r/t clone in primer with running 383 and interior pretty much done. just got it shipped and should have it Saturday
Undecided if ill do a hemi swap on this car. i sold the 6.1 i had for the other car and picked up a 6.4 that is in the motor shop getting forged internals and cam , didnt think id find a running and driving car let alone a 383 lol
