went to my friends shop and seen this. A rotisserie finished 67 Coronet RT,the dreaded bulkhead killed it.Please check your wires guys.

the dreaded X's. Only reason for a burn down is a voltage regulator/ alternator full field....

That's just sad.....

yep the guy is pulling engine tranny and rearend and scraping the car.

He drove it and then parked it in his trailer and the neighbor came over and said your trailer is on fire.

Sorry to see this. But, couldn't that car be rebuilt? Unless the fire weakened the structure. I would have reservations about scrapping it.

If just the tin has burned not the structure I’d redo it. I seen a triple black 383 4 gear 70 charger like that and it’s stunning now.. it’s all up to the owner I’d at least get some second opinions and slow up on scrapping it ...there are lots of parts still available from a used front stub to used rails . Sad sad sad I’d be devastated but I’d be building it back.. it would take me a long time as I try to use only good used parts. Someone save it! My shop is full.

A good lesson here is to completely remove the old wiring and bulkhead connector and replace with new updated wiring. Also eliminate the ammeter from the whole system. The MAD Electric upgrade is the way to go also. Just makes sense too because most of the original wiring is brittle and dry rotted insulation. I did on my 66 Ply Sat and by passed to ammeter and ballast resistor from it...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:
