Another one bites the dust

I have been considering buying a new Challenger. A few weeks back my local dealer called me to look at a barely used Challenger T/A. I took it for a drive. Nice car but I passed on it.

I stopped by the dealer again today to pick up my van after having it serviced and the sales manager told me the car had been stolen right out of the show room, after keys had accidentally been left in the car. Police were involved and a spike belt or two later and this was the result.

The cupholder actually. Car had been repositioned earlier that day in the showroom

Keep in mind, "keys" aren't what they used to be - that car uses a "fob", which means it
just needs to be in the immediate vicinity of the car when the START button is pushed
on the instrument panel.
Ashtray works fine.

Hell don't even need to be that close. I locked the keys in my truck... took a cab home and got the wife's Challenger while she sat on the back of my running truck at the grocery store. Came back with the spare keys, opened my truck, wife got in her car and off we went. Never seen her drive so hard and fast.. trying to keep up to me everytime her dash lite up with "the fob has left the vehicle" !! I had it in my pocket !

I've tried several times so far to lock my keys in the new Ram. Just wont let me do it. lol Honks the horn, flashes the lights. Make a real big scene. lol Yep I'm glad she does.
