not a fan of the 73-74 body style
the front just doesn't do it for me at all

but it does look to be relatively solid

It looks like a good starter classic Mopar for someone on a budget. If you took care of it stopped the rust from getting worse and did some interior work you could drive it a few years and still get your money back when you sold it.

i liked that it has the buckets and console and rally dash , and doesn't appear to be a rust bucket

Cool. Even has white upper door panels like mine.

One of these days I'll post a pic of what the front of mine looks like without the large rubber bumper guards.

I really don't mind them but without them it's a cleaner look.

IMO the 73/74 RR front view is only eclipsed by the 69 N96 Dodge for "menacing".

sorry, no offense intended
but I completely disagree

different stroke for different folk

not everyone likes the same things

Do you need to red x me on taste?

Do I do that to you?

I like the look as well. Seems the public did too, sales went way up in '73 compared to '71 and '72.

that's your opinion

Do I do that to you?
at least I explained why I disagreed, no need to get all upset
& yes
that's what the red X is for
it means I Disagree, it's not as an insult, lighten up
that's what it is for, nothing more or less

I disagree completely with your saying the 73-74 are mean/sinister-looking
more so than the 69's,
hell not even the 68's or 70's
or then 71-72 for that matter

opinins vary

I had a 74 RR back in the day, I really liked the interior more than anything else. Originally it was a 318 3spd, gun metal grey with a white/checkerboard cloth interior. I wasn't a huge fan of the exterior initially but it grew on me and I repainted it yellow. I traded it in on a 74 Challenger. That was like 40 years ago and last year a buddy was at a car show and sent me a pic of the car which is till treasured by someone.

Car looks good, I have a 74 rr and for me looks wise the steering wheel is horrible. I replaced mine with the earlier version that isn’t so bulky looking.

You're not reading my posts.

I said second only to the 69 dual scoop hood.

Why even post in the thread if you're only gonna say you don't like it and red x those who do?

Just move on and let us 73 fans have our thread(s).

Think if it were closer I would have a hard time not owning it
