I have a 440 6 pack that has a purple shaft cam. Problem is I don’t know which one. Solid lifters, supposed to have dynoed at 520hp. What would be the valve lash settings? Thinking.28??

Holy guacamole if you lash at .28 You're gonna have a bad day!:p

Ha I know what you meant.
For the most part the B/RB cams spec'd at .028 int/ .032 exh.
There were some exceptions, according to this chart-
https://www.mopar1.us/camchart.html

Im running the .528 purpleshaft and it dynoed right around 520HP with mildly ported 915 heads also. Another board member was similar at 520HP 560TQ. Heres his run

528 may be close to what is in there. So, I guess .028/ .032 is probably about right

put a dial indicator at the valve and measure the lif. it will get you in the ball park. I always ran my 528 at .020. no issues
