a happy ending, and a sighting of galen govier ! Hemi Daytona gets saved

Rob,the Red Daytona Big Willie had,and the green Daytona Tomika had were both Hemi cars, the red one that was repainted to Y2 yellow was a 440 car,and the only one of the three to survive. Bob will be cleaning up surface rust and dirt from 50 years of sitting, but the car is not rotted.
As far as causing a train wreck,it's a thread or two on a couple of internet car sites, hardly worth getting too worked up about! They accomplished their goal, and found a home for the car,and wether they intended to or not they preserved three very rare b bodies, that I am impressed to see have survived, everyone thought they were bullshitting about the cars, and they were dead wrong. They didn't just give away some fenders, lets be realistic,we all know what original Daytona parts are worth, and I don't see anyone else giving away Daytona parts. And for the record there are no Democrats here!

You can say what you want, but the people who started the thread told the truth about the cars that they owned, and documented them with pictures. I put their personal preferences aside, and didn't judge them about them. They did what they felt was best for the car, which might possibly be the only unrestored Hemi Charger Daytona left in the world and put it Bob's capable hands as the new caretaker of the car. Above all that they gave a gentleman whose father bought his Daytona new a pair of Daytona fenders, which we all know are virtually worth their weight in gold in the current market. They are great people who put the cars wellbeing before the money, not to say that they didn't get good money for the car, and put helping a fellow Daytona owner with an unexpected gift of a pair of original fenders over making money off of them, and they should be treated very fairly for doing so. They are the kind of people this hobby is all about! Those are my thoughts on the whole thing.

My thoughts about the matter dont extend past the 4th post because the BS meter was tripped in a big way. Maybe the supposed owners of those cars were genuine, maybe not; I did not read the thread to conclusion so I dont know how it all turned out. Based on THIS thread it sounds like there were rare cars and they were saved, but the OP in that DC.com thread was ridiculous in their posting style and an absolute turn off to read so I stayed away...

Those images made me go out to my shop and look at a picture I have on my wall. This is a big sticker that a friend of mine got years ago and gave it to me.

Still suffering mental coma, as I forced myself to read the whole thread. The only noteworthy thing I saw was that Kern dog and Alfalfa actually agreed on something:
