I like your more door hardtop. I have one that I got back from body and paint in the fall, and am now reassembling it. Canadian car with factory buckets and console. I have a 440 in it,dressed up to look like 426 Street Wedge. Big blocks were red here in Canada. First couple of pictures are about 25 years old. I completely disassembled it and have redone it since then.
Yes, I was there a few times. I live only about an hour away. I displayed it in the arena there one year. Thanks for noticing.

I love 64's. I've had a few. The white 440 was the first one I built, bought it for $100 and installed a built 440, narrowed dana 60 etc. Savoy was an original owner /6 3 speed car with absolutely no options, not even a radio. Polara is the last one I built, 440, narrowed Dana 60.

Thanks. I do have more photos but I looked all over yesterday and couldn't find them. I'll put them up when I find them. I really like the way it turned out. Loved the colours especially of the interior and the early 10 inch torq thrusts on the back with the deep offset.

This is a very cool Dodge. It is a model we never had up here in Canada. We had 440 4- sedans, but not 2- doors with stainless post trim. Canadian 440's also had different tail light set-up.
It could be. That was the only time I had the convertible at Carlisle. I talked to a lot of people that weekend that had '64 Dodges in their life. I sold the car on the Saturday, and it ended up in Allentown, Pa.

This is fantastic! I don't think they made many 64 Plumouth/Dodge 4 door hardtops. I am pretty sure I have never seen one in real life. But I love them. For years I have thought that I would love to have a 64 Plymouth 4 door hardtop to go with my wagon. Maybe someday. Thanks for sharing.
I always thought it would be cool to make a 4-door hardtop "Polara" wagon. Plymouth made upscale Fury wagons, but Dodge did not make a matching Polara wagon. This is probably because they already had deluxe wagons as 'C'-body 880's. We never had these in Canada. The B-body hardtop wagon could be made by removing the 'b' pillar and replacing it with the 4-door hardtop stub pillar. 4-door hardtop doors would bolt right on, since the door/window opening is the same between wagon and sedan bodies. For me, too much sand has run through my old hour glass to get into another project.
They made 797 4-door hardtops in Canada in 1964. Mine is # 453. Last spring, I talked to Mopar author Jim Schild at Indy Swap Meet. He has written a few books on early '60's Max Wedge and Hemi cars. He asked me if I was working on a project and I told him about my '64 4-door. He said he did not realize that Dodge even made this body style, since he had never seen one. That is a great looking car. The red contrast paint really sets off black paint job. What are you packing under the hood?
