Its amazing what a little wood will do....

I have three rifles with thumb hole stocks, two came with that style stock while the one I just installed was by choice. The biggest problem I have found with many of the composite stocks is that they are smooth even though they may have some type of texturing.
The thumb hole style stock allows better control of the weapon when texturing is not an option on the stock itself. Several production weapons have been offered with thumb hole stocks due to the safety aspect of smooth stocks by giving the shooter a way of holding on to their weapon.

I have my concealed carry for both NY and Pennsylvania and can carry in 26 or 27 states, I have 6 handguns on my permit.. they range in size from .45 acp, .40 acp, 9mm, .32 acp all the way down to .22.

Love those grips. and the black pad on the front of the grip.
Very nice. Thank you for showing.

Nice to see like minded folks around our great country ... I don’t have have much just my trusty 1187 SP and my old Marlin 22 but I’m pretty handy with both..

If Biden send out a stimulus mine will be spent on a custom AR (assault rifle) build lol using a sharps bros lower

Whoever Red X’ed your post most have thought it was going to be a Blue Forum post :D
Well, seein' as though it was you.... :)

Tell ya what, y'all got some purty boomsticks for sure.
'Course, here in TN I don't reckon you need any permit to buy about any firearm, short of federal restrictions.
Carryin' is where the state starts wanting money.... but I digress.
I'd love to join in on the braggin' fest here....but there's been a tragic mining accident and I've
lost all my firearms down a bottomless pit!

I have a Gamo 22 Cal. air rifle for that!! 1300 FPS!!

My air rifle is only around 1100 but does the job.

I'm right there with you bro. My wife wanted the Mossberg loaded by the door for when I am over the road. The first time she shot it with Double 00 was priceless. Needless to say, she won't fire it anymore. She got her concealed carry with a S&W 9mm, which she is an expert with. She keeps it locked in our safe. The AR that she trained on, she doesn't like loaded when I am not home...I give up!!
The first time X1 shot a wheel gun, she shut her eyes and squeezed the grip so hard that she ended up pointing the thing at the ground right in front of her. The first time she drove a stick, it was a perfect start and I thought 'wow', she's got this aced. Second start was a bit jerky but I thought the trans was going to fall out of the truck on the third try! I did give up!

So far so good in Texas.....no need to list your weapons on the permit!

Pool balls or golf balls?
I've been wanting a golfball cannon
I've got a barrel for golf balls but that's it and with all the vacant land behind me being developed, my shooting range disappeared. :(

Agreed, but with a newborn my budget only allowed for a stock change. Old stock and weaver scope will go back on when I do purchase an AR
Newborn....? You must be one of the youngens here lol. My 3 are grown and have been gone and are doing good but I still wouldn't want to go through that again lol

Can't say much....I was 37 when my last one was born lol. Still felt pretty good at 53 though! And there's 12 years between the youngest and the oldest.....

All of mine are girls and wasn't about to try again for a boy. Get a house full of girls and you'll know what I'm talking about!! LOL And btw, they all get into sync with each other during that time of the month. One is bad enough but two at the same time is hell....then you can add in the daily drama. Help! :D

That explains your name.....!!

Yeah, I try to hide but they always find me. The other day my car cover was delivered. I had rolled out the new carpet in my 69 Bee and put the cover on. I lifted the cover and crawled in to do something and discovered a new hiding spot!!!! It was dark, quiet, and comfy. And no one would ever suspect me hiding there. Lol.

Nah its all good.....

Not allowed to carry over here.....and get this - a baseball bat is considered to be an offensive weapon - depending upon it's location within your car :mob:
