I am trying to date these valve covers, going to be using a 68 double snorkel air cleaner and just wondering if these will work? Originally I had a 2 barrel 383, I noticed the magnum has valve covers simular but I am just wondering if anyone could could give me a idea of what I got here? They were in the trunk when I bought the car !
Thx!

1970.. and I'm not certain but with that rear wire tab on the drivers sides rear top I'd say C body not B.

Thanks ya I figured 70 as well due to the filler cap, those wire tabs do have me a bit confused though as well.

 Pretend their 68 cover's. Is it true that the 70's filler cap instead of the long filler neck on them the rocker's hit on that filler cap on the 68 and 69 383.

FWIW 70 is much more sought after and harder to find than 68... Those are 70 C body but as mentioned a few minutes with a grinder on that one tab & very few could ever tell... I'd sell those to someone who needs them & get 68 covers so you have a place for the proper breather cap...

Or you could get a cool set, It wouldn't devalue the car.

Here's a couple sets I have:

Thanks! I have 3 sets so I think I will look through them and make sure I use the right set, my originals are not as clean but may clean up well we will see.

With a motor like that you don't need a rocket!!!!!!!! The new generation would wonder where you plug it in
