serial number to see what it was in.

I will not sell manifolds separately until engine sells first without them
I do have a set of 440 HP manifolds for sale on this site last week but
they are same # but early 1970 Julian date.
The Vin near pan seems to have only the last eight numbers of the Vin.

Is it supposed to have the first four as well that tells what it was in?

Only 8 characters on the Vin pad = I looked
again to be sure!

Many '69's only have 9AXXXXXX or 9G.. or 9C.. or 9_ so you'll only get a hint of what car line.

Please post a picture of the VIN, block cast date, and stamp pad with the engine assembly date. This will help us know what we are looking at. Many people are looking for specific dates. Thank you.

Block Casting Date 1/15/69
Intake Casting Date 1/22/69 (178 #)
I will look for the rest next week
I took intake off and everything looked
good: rockers/pushrods/cam/lifters etc.
No apparent rust or damage!
Oil was dirty but did not look contaminated.
Some sludge=almost 80,000 miles engine
Valley pan and what I could see of head gaskets
Looked OEM mopar and never apart!

Does it turn over or is it stuck?

I will
Interested in the manifolds. I sent you a pm
I have an ad on here for 68 to 70 HP manifolds on this site a couple weeks ago = they are available and I am somewhat negotiable on them.

If I get a chance = I will remove the spark plugs and put oil in the
cylinders and work on turning it over this week.

Again, This engines has quite a few miles on it and has been sitting for
over 40 years. It should be considered a core and recommend rebuilding
and not just putting in your car and turning the key.

I have several extra 440 steel cranks and rods =
If anything does not mag good in this engine I will replace
any of them at no charge except shipping = But I
expect the one in the engine to be fine!
