Is everyone a target of hate crimes now?

Black, White, Asian, Mexican, Indian. Reminds me of a Tarantino movie with guns loaded and pointed at each other. We are all pink inside!

"hate" is a human emotion that has now become the target of attempted eradication by many, unfortunately because it is an integral part of the human condition it is impossible to negate. There will always be A holes, crack pots and maniacs out there and there will always be violence. The softer the society the more prevalent it will be.

Mmm let me see, NO!!! as a mexican, am not offended by stereotypes, racist comments of others, jokes, etc, why not? because I grew up in a different generation, where you defend yourself, for example, like ALL of you i have a bully when I was I kid, how do I resolve that problem? Easy pick up a fight, what did I learn from this, am here to see for myself and resolve my own problems, only one guy here openly racist not longer here and him and I tell **** you to each other a lots of times, do I get offended when el cabron of Roger compare me with speedy gonzalez, NO! I compare him and his entire country with the lord of the rings movie characters, now why this sudden importance to this type of comments, a new generation of snow flakes people offended by everything and everyone, turn out you can not discipline your kids because you traumatized them, the results : the lack of respect to their elders, mothers and fathers included, lack of values and courage, people that free up believing that they deserve everything just for the fact of being here and alive, come on! give me a ******* break, now that am an adult I thank my dad for being hard on me, teach me values, and give me the strength to fight my own battles and not depend on anybody and that includes not to be offended by this kind of BS, and yes I will continue to call Roger a freaking hobbit. @kiwigtx :poke:

The topic is merely a tool to use to manipulate an agenda. When I was a YOOT growing up in Brooklyn, my neighbor hood was many cultures: Irish, Polish, Italian, Hispanic, Black, etc. We would call each other the most vile ethnic slurs and jokes, the worse the better, while we played ball together and got along great. Why ? Because we had no ill-intent for each other, we would just "rank-out" each other for fun. Nobody's pubic hairs got twisted. We looked out for each other.
 
True story - main reason my wife agreed to date me in college was my 50% Korean heritage (she was and is a bleeding heart). Boy did I put one over on her. My other half is Scotch/German, grew up to love whiskey and moonshine cars, cancel her votes out. She whines that I'm a fraud, just an old redneck white guy who looks Asian. Guess I've assimilated. Try to have a sense of humor about political correctness, but it gets difficult, especially after having dealt with seriously real racial crap in the fifties and sixties. It's way improved in my lifetime but some don't want to believe it.

Even better than Tarantino are Stanley Kubrick movies jmo, remember full metal jacket? The drill Sargent call EVERYBODY a nick name, all offensive, pointing a "flaw" according to him, he even call a black soldier snow flake or something like that, who said something when this movie was released ? Nobody, is a classic now and I love it.
 
I always considered "hate" to be one possible motive for a crime, not a crime.

I hate to be wrong. Am I supposed to disclose my hate? Is it a separate, and punishable, crime to not disclose my hate? What if I determine that I wasn't actually wrong in the first place? :rolleyes:
 
I'm 1/2 Portuguese which is supposed to be considered Latino since we descended from the Latin colonies but we're not considered Hispanic by the U.S. census. One used to be able to tell that I am Portuguese because my temper was so bad but now you can't tell....and now I'm feeling like I'm being discriminated against....I'm so corn fused! Dayam, why can't we all just be people and not be labeled like a brand of car? All heck, why not!? I'm a Plymouth Portuguese Belvedere I 2dr sedan :D
