I always wondered why someone would post a time bomb in the general discussion and then question your job to have to move it when it goes off. Bored, slow or dumb like a fox...... all roads lead to the same place.

I can appreciate the need to relocate threads to the proper area. They don't always start out political though, I've had a couple of threads that disappeared and I then found out that someone had added political comments later, and there it went. No big deal to me.

That's when you should call out those idiots that are to stupid to pay attention to the topic they're posting and where they post it! But I guess they're to stupid to know any better, Right????

One of the problems is that we're not always around when the thread takes that turn and if the thread is real active, it can get into several pages before one of us notices. When that happens it usually takes a pretty good while to weed out the offenders. That's why we ask to hit the report button as soon as the OP or another poster sees that it's going south....but even at that, we're not always on at the same time. Kiwi is the only one that's on here at night (for the most of us) since he's down under but he also has a regular job to take care of.

the rules. I appreciate your due diligence. I got really Pissed one time because a
Moderator should have moved my post but deleted it and told me he moved it!
I'll try to do better in the future.

That can happen and sorry if it did. (have no clue where and who) We usually delete posts if we are watching when it happens. If we stumble across a thread that has turned sideways we will move it to the politics forum or delete it if it's bad enough. We try to be peacekeepers
