What am I missing here? I have looked up in my manuals to make sure it’s hooked up correctly. Cannot figure out why the top of the tire rod is hitting the torsion bar.

Coincidence as I just reposted about same issue finding out the pitman arm was cantering the linkage up on the left side. A new pitman on just today remedied the clearance issue; but your clearance looks more radical than mine was. Stating the obvious make sure you have the correct parts if you put new parts on comparing with the old ones...idler/pitman...etc

Thank you, I have the old stuff so I wil look. I ordered what was listed for my car. Can I ask which part number/dealer you ordered from?

There's a member I ordered my pitman from - mobilparts...

I don't think any linkage parts such as the center link can be flipped or installed before finding out it's not right; but maybe some more in the know will respond...

Something is up with your idler arm and the tie rod end doesn’t look like it’s seated far enough in the drag link socket. Tie rod may be ok but still looks to be way high but there’s for sure something up with that idler arm. How’s the driver side for clearance?
