Why do the Blackouts exist and why are they larger than the headlight areas? Just wondering,
Someone at Mopar (engineer and/or management) didn't like the body color showing behind the grille and thus created an eternal bitching point among the Mopar community not to mention Mopar Action magazine who will call it out every single time....
He's talking about Superbirds and the blacked out covers.Someone at Mopar (engineer and/or management) didn't like the body color showing behind the grille and thus created an eternal bitching point among the Mopar community not to mention Mopar Action magazine who will call it out every single time....
What a way to get a black eye...LOL my bad...
YesIt is a good question now looking at that Superbird. They all had them didn't they?
I know where your car's twin is in a junkyard. Been trying to come up with money to make a solid offerKinda like putting a bikini on a set of headlights. Many times they look better covered...

One of the things that I missed on mine while at the paint shop. You don't want to know how much it cost to have them airbrushed on.I like the look when it has the finished look. But I don’t like the outline of body color around the headlights like this white bird has.
