Need to replace the positive cable on the 65 Coronet. Original is cut up. What one is original? I'm thinking the flag style terminal is? .... $$. Will any BB cable work ... I see some for 69-73 going for as little as $33.

In my experience, the cable on the left is what the original looked like.

The cheaper cables use aluminum which will quickly heat up and cause issues. If you read the description of the cheaper cables by some of the vendors selling them, they will even make a note to not use the cable with the high amperage starters as the cables not stand the heat generated.

The cables that we provide are based off of assembly line pieces to duplicate the various colors and head styles. Over the counter NOS parts have been found to differ from the assembly line pieces. All of the cables that we offer feature the correct gage copper wires, lead heads and plated brass terminals just like the factory pieces. Depending upon the vendor of your choice, these cables typically sell in the $125 to $150 range for the positive cable.

My cables are not OEM style. I use 1/0 welding cable and crimped copper ends. Sold a few sets for the earlier B's too. Member @Hosehead was wanting a set for his 63 Plymouth.

If the battery is in OEM location, I'll make them to any reasonable length on a custom basis. Give me the length of each wire and you'll get them right at that spec.

My shipping is never more than about $20 in the Con US. I sent a set of cables and a headlight relay kit to Mass from California for $18, IIRC.

Thanks Rob. OEM style or not they are top quality as is all your work.

@jimbosride, not sure if your referring to our shipping as being $47. I always tell people to contact us directly to get a shipping quote. We charge the customer whatever it cost for us to ship the product unless it requires a custom box like we use for the louvers. Due to the volume that we ship, our UPS rate is discounted 40% which makes the rates very competitive.

Either way, you bought a good cable from Jamie at Mega Parts and I believe that you will be well pleased with the product.
