I will soon be pouring my driveway. It will be 300 feet long and I got to thinking I might build it in a way that I can practice launches with my cars without leaving marks all over the road out front. People have asked:"Did you make those marks?" I look over at my cars, including a '64 Plymouth with slicks, and smile. With 300 feet and a flat pasture at the end, there should be room for working on 60 foot times. It's a safe distance from any buildings in case I get sideways. I can wire in a Christmas Tree and Timer to get things (and me) dialed in.
How wide, 12? More?
Is 300 feet long enough?
Thoughts, advice?
