Two really good versions of a great song. With such great classics and a lot of good new stuff being cut how come we are forced to listen to such dibble , soft rock garbage from the radio stations, at least around here anyway. There are some good stations i listen to when i'm in TN. but around here it's just embarrassing.

Bud, you’re to hard on yourself. That’s what most dads enjoy doing. I always told my kids, it’s my job to be your father, it’s my pleasure to be your dad! I’m actually proud of my kids and happy to help them anyway I can. You only get one chance at this life, be the best that you can be for yourself and the people you love and care about. To me kids and old people are the most important and sometimes the most neglected in this world. Your dad is a good man! This song was one of my favorites, both versions are great. It was kind of my theme song in my twenties. I didn’t get married til I was 32.
