Because I have checked with moderators in the past and that was the explanation. Ultimately, it's up to the judgement of moderators; and in many cases there has been adequate warning about what to post, or not post, and where to not post stuff. Hurling personal insults is taboo too of course.

I was just curious because this thread has disappeared and I was wondering what happened and why.

With that title I’d say it was political and got removed or moved to the political section.

I got a post removed by some not-so-smart mediator, and when I questioned it he said
that he moved it. When I asked where he moved it to, he told me the location. I went
to look for it and couldn't find it. I inquired to him and he said, "Oh, I deleted it". Not
very nice! We all make mistakes.
