Car has a 85 318/727. Looked to be a good solid body. Good candidate for a hot rod build. Click the link & check it out.

Different build

sounds like he got the drivetrain out of a PU

Looks really solid. The body might be 1936 but the front clip is for sure 1939. The square headlights were available only in 1939 and round ones were also available that year. I wish bodies that old were in that kind of shape around here. Bobby

hey bob , that car is a 39 here is a 36 i've got a 4dr sed and a 2dr coupe i set a 56 desoto 330 hemi in the coupe for fix

everything is going well , i'm still settling up with my sister with our fathers trust estate . and i'm having to move since she's getting the property i'm standing on . so me and all my stuff are moving . not sure where yet , but the west coast is running dry of fresh water . and this damm town is getting way too over run with stupid uncaring people , but one thing nice is property values are climbing rapidly , rents have jumped 20-30 % in a year . oh ya i still like your videos keep them coming bob .

Welcome to NC neighbor .

well thats not out of the question my friend , and i'd be closer to the southeast gassers circus tracks . but the bonny saltflats are alot further to drag my stuff too . the wife and i are looking , i did get married to my lady friend of thirteen years , known her for about twenty-six . she's okay with my hotrods n car collection but the racers worry her , for my safety . and my bonny saltflats truck is getting a different power plant . no more desoto hemi , i've scored a down sleeved and de stroked chrysler 392 hemi , its now 286 ci . thats going to allow me to turn up the boost of the blower to around thirty lbs , maybe higher . and going chrysler hemi my parts will enter change with my 354 stetched n bore to 371 . with i could make a 392 into also . the cylinder liner thickness the better , also scored my donovan 417 block and bullet crowler stroked crank and trick 7075....... long rods for both . the donovan is for my austin a40 gasser . but right now i'm trying to finish up a couple motors for project , putting together a 64 340 4spd cuda and a 63 fury 440 stage 2 4spd car . along with the other projects , lol .

oh ya bob , i scored a austin a40 pickup too . i'd love to race that p/u in a southeast gasser event , thinking of a high rpm 383 tunnel ram with a833 4spd spooled dana 60 4.56 straight tube front axle with american magnesiums on all four corners in the b/g class 8 lbs to evert cube . i've got most of the parts in house . that b wedge in that tube chassi is getting replaced with a chrysler hemi , and its not a blower motor , that motor has around 13 to 1's and fully ported iron heads build special for the lower end . still needs some work to make it race ready , but that package would be fun , not sure if it would win a bunch of races , but as you know its not always the fastest that wins an event .

Paul NC may not be right for you. We have tons of muscle car stuff here & Flathead Ford stuff but I rarely come across early 60’s fuel stuff or early 60’s race stuff in general. Definitely no salt flats stuff.
