Probate not required in some states like Georgia, but you never know when some opportunist will show up down the line and cause problems.

IL is a probate state and a living revocable trust is what will preclude going to court.

When my dad passed on, everything was already gone. He was reluctant to do that at first but he saw the benefits of the ones left behind. He even signed the Dakota title etc and once I saw that he wasn't going to recover from a heart attack......

Notice the leather jacket draped over my arm too
on a 95*-100* summer day here

my stepmother Patty (dad's wife #3) was taking family photos
I had to reluctantly wear it
or cause a real ruckus, so I just went along with it
I don't/didn't do photos much...
my bros & sisters all had to comply too

But we looked cool & well dressed for the era
