I am new to this forum. Just bought a 66 charger 383 and was searching for the broadcast sheet behind my seats and found 2 tags that have some numbers and lettering embossed. Can anyone help me identify what these are. Unfortunately my car does not have a Fender tag only The Vin number. Thank Y'all.

Those look like part number tags.

Those are the part numbers for the seats. They would be in the 66 parts book. Furnish the VIN number so that can be decoded. By the way introduce yourself here and post some pictures of your car. Welcome from Alabama.

Howdy Y'all my names Sham Kotb Live here in Houston Texas and I am the proud owner of a 1966 Dodge charger 383 stoked to a 451. VIN# XP29G61254554

66 Charger, premium grade, 383 4bbl. Plant =1, I don't have a 66 service manual handy to tell you where.

Hardtop cars often put them under the rear bench sir.....also......drivers headliner......even taped to the back side of the glove box......no kidding

I believe Jerry Hall was referring to the Parts Manual, not the Service Manual as shown above. And yes, those are part number tags for the seats. There have been recent threads posted about these tags. My '70 TA has tags on both front seat backs, having a normal (MOPAR) part number and date. However, not all of them are in this format.

Ill check at work. Im pretty sure I have the parts manuals from 64 to 71.
As well as the collision repair manuals.
