I'm still seeing them down. And with the political troubles? More evidence that they purposefully promoted decisive content. The more users fought? The more traffic for their advertising efforts. I'm unsure of any specific law broken? But certainly this was suspected from many.

One can only hope. It is quite the coincidence that all their platforms go down 24 hours before a hearing by the whistleblower. Methinks that they are destroying evidence. I use it to stay in touch with old friends, but despise what it has become. If it goes down the tubes...I will not shed a tear. I only hope they tar and feather Zuckerberg along the way.

What a shame…
Could not have happened to a nicer company…

I'm fairness? They didn't target any agenda. They just promoted what was trending. The problem? They were aware that this practice was causing social damage. Even if we the public is the real culprit. And most all of us are guilty in some degree.

All of the platforms are tits-up right now. FB, Instagram and that twat thing are down, according to the media pukes. Plus, G--gle and Amazon are all down, far as stock prices go as of 3:30pm CDT today. All have reported outages, plus all of the telecoms.

Yup. Nothing to see here.

The Law Broken, was Censoring "Certain Individuals" 1st Amendment Rights, which They were Instructed by Gov't Officials to do. They were Editing, and That Is Illegal...

Media, social media and communications companies are not the pukes? WE ARE.

Society was given cool tools to communicate and share our life experiences. And what did we do? Bitch like the Karen's we are.

I'm not excusing they or many other site and business platforms. They certainly brought gasoline to a bonfire. But we started the fire.

Same here...and retired co-workers. Hard to believe so many 'old' farts use it lol. I also use the marketplace to sell stuff locally that's too big or too expensive to ship or won't sell on the sites. There's a huge 'Tin Grill' pickup page (73-80 Dodges) on there and a few years ago I picked up a bunch of tail light lenses that no one much wanted on the pickup forums here but sold the rest on facebook.

Does anyone under 30 use it?
Yeah, there's some on there. My kids ain't 30 anymore but they were on there and one of them still is.....and young girls looking to scam ya.

No, the social media companies are to blame. Look at all the censorship they employ against anyone conservative. Plus, they allow government entities to post and such. This is dangerous ground that they are finally getting called out on, for being de facto told of the government. No, it all needs to be either brought down altogether, or reforms instituted to prevent their nonsense from occurring again.

I've seen your posts Patrick. I'm willing to take responsibility. And if you are suggesting your hands are clean? We all have crumbs on our fingers from that cookie jar. That's my point. It's not all someone else's fault.

One thing is for sure - if they all are down at the same time, that ain't no coincidence.

Yep it’s killing me today not having it. I’m on hundreds of Mopar groups. Buy and sell daily on Facebook. Sucks

Yep...smells like a cyber-attack. I wonder if it will be discovered (and disclosed?) that personal data was breached..

Unfortunately, fb and the like have such a big footprint the failure of one of them would throw the market into fits.

Too bad it's not permanent...

I hope they crash & go down in flames

good for the whistleblower too,
finally someone with 'a once of integrity'

Bias ******** censorship,
liberal/socialist supporting ******** running it
