Do I look fat in this dress?

It's got some hips.

As does my 73.

7/10 split anyone?

I have a 72 with a partial white vinyl top and a 73 Hemi orange car with a black vinyl top and a body length black beauty stripe decal. I have to admit the 72 looks a little fat. The 73 seems to be sleeker. Big in the hips for sure.

“Coke Bottle” styling....
Yeah, 2 liter bottle!

As '69 Charger goes. Are we confusing Fat with Phat? (Except for the 500. I think they do look a little "Fatter." But some think Phatter?)

I think yours looks great. Mine, at the moment, looks a little overweight...but I have plans to remedy that.

I plan to put on new rear springs (thinking stock BB springs) to combat the "middle age sag" lol...then upsize the factory 14's to some wider 15" Magnum 500s, just to fill the fenders a bit more.

But to answer the original question, I LOVE the coke-bottle, pinched-waist styling, and the big ol' hips of the 2G Chargers. They just don't shape cars like these anymore - compound curves, combined with sharp corners, wedges, scoops...all on the same panel! Hell, just the HOOD has more art in it than entire cars do today!

Doesn't look overweight to me. What, pray tell, are you going to do to it?

I just saw the rest of your post. Yeah, I put 15"s on both cars and think it looks good. Of course the pearl vinyl top car has big *** tires in the back and I love the Cragars.

I've said it before: it's a masterpiece of industrial design. Monumental sculptures like the Pieta and the statue of David are great but they can't move! To see these works of art in motion is often breathtaking, seeing that the beauty has function. Look at the lines from the front fender flow to the top of the door into another graceful curve that continues to the quarter. These shapes are organically inspired.

I'll also need to go to 15s so I can upgrade the factory anti-lock brakes (4 wheel non-assisted drums) to power front discs. Discs don't fit inside the 14s...

Factory 10" disks fit inside factory 14" wheels.
