Courtesy of another member, these photos show the piece I am looking for. Thanks!

I broke mine recently trying to bend it to much for adjustment. I cut a piece out of sheet metal (not sure of gage off hand but comparable to original or slightly thicker), trimmed to shape, bent the tip over like the original, filed it down smooth to same overall shape, drilled screw holes in it and painted it black. Works fine.

Should be able to come up with a used one from someone, but if not, this is an option.

Thanks for the tip. I have a feeling that will be what I need to do.

Again thanks - forgot to mention, I don't have the original piece to get measurements, but hopefully simple enough to eyeball and finesse it.

I can probably find part of my old one and do a tracing if you get stuck.

I would try member JoeRatchet who has been parting out some 66/67 cars. He lists his stuff under Parts Cars and Cars being parted out.

Thanks - I PM'd him before posting my WTB. He didn't have any. I may have found a used one online. Waiting on an answer.

I think that 66-7 b body Plymouth Dodge would be the same. Spent a night in your City on the way to the Charger 50th in Detroit 2016. Nice place. The GM trunk lock tumbler that had been put in by the previous owner, calved. Lady at the ferry terminal sent us to a place that worked on older cars. They went in with a loooong screwdriver and unlatched the lock. Asked what I owed, well they said 30.00. I gave them 40.00, said I didn’t need a receipt. The owner said it would go towards a refreshment fund. And we were back on time for the ferry. Very good day.

Glad you had a good experience. People are generally really decent around here, especially the classic car crowd. Lot of younger guys getting into it, which I think is great and good for the hobby.
