hello --

My 70 GTX was ordered without the hood stripe.
Would it still have had the 440+6 sticker on each side?

Also -
on the backside by the window - what callout is located in the recessed area - 440 or 440+6 ??

and last question
on the front of the hood - is the PLYMOUTH trim emblem studded w/cap nuts or 2x sided taped?

thanks - bill

I believe the hood call-out says 440 only; since it doesn't say either 4 or 6bbl they could use it for both types of engine.
As for the front of the hood, I've seen hoods with holes for the Plymouth emblem so I'd say it was originally held on with studs and nuts.

Can't help with the hood decal question.

my original hood has no holes drilled for the emblem.
curiously enough, it was ordered with hood pins but the are ZERO signs they were ever drilled and installed.

Hood and fenders are the originals with all original paint.

crazy stuff.....

The hood decals are an option, never standard.

440 only in the back of the hood

Hood front emblem has 3 studs with nuts. LOOK at the backside of the hood lip, see those 3 squares cut out of the under skin? Those are for access to install the nuts on the studs.
