Greetings from Upstate NY
. Nice Chevelle, the guys here are correct, most of us like other brands beside mopars,me, I like vw's be ready to pay a lot of money for a 68-70 b body 2door those cars are increasing value rapidly, not to mention a 2nd gen hemi.
THANKS A HELLUVA LOT @Tony Tee !!! You're giving Tenton ideas!! GOT ANOTHER GUY TO TAR & FEATHER!!!Welcome!
Aren't HEMI's illegal in New Jersey? LOL! Just kidding.

No shock here...been around a long time and know the drill. I sold my Chevelle for what a Ray Barton engine costs.Welcome to the site, you are about to get the shock of your life. Mopar stuff, especially Hemi stuff is dramatically more expensive than pretty much anything in the GM world to include Corvette stuff. I once bought a 64 SS 283 4spd for $150... lol sold it to my boss who made a dirt track car out of it.
With all this said, here is what I would recommend; find a body style you like and source a running/driving car. Then you can get a 426 Hemi crate motor or perhaps a used motor from someone (they are out there) and then build the car you are seeing in your head.
