looking to buy a 22 inch H.P. Radiator for 383 engine on my 70 Coronet.

Do you want to right numbered original rad? What transmission, it makes a difference on part number.

2998960 for automatic

its an automatic car therefore the 2998960 rad also with AC

Is it factory A/C? All 1970 A/C b-bodies had 26” radiators.

Then somethings wrong.. A/C required a 26" Radiator

70 B body 383/727 W A/C There are a number of possible radiator numbers.... 2998956 2998958 2998961
The 2998956 is the big dog, gets all the $$$$, used with Hemis, 440-6, 440-4 & 383-4 4spd & Auto...

I've owned quite a few 383 & 440-4 with Auto & A/C the 2998961 seems much more common in that application..

Trust...but verify. Here's a 57 radiator in a 383-2 auto E body non a/c application.
Apparently the the 383-2 bbl with a/c got the 58.

Meaning....a listing in the parts book that does not jive with the broadcast sheets.

956 is HD cooling so any hemi or axle pkg or RB 4 speed
961 is BB AC 4 bbl
958 is AC 383 2 bbl

If you look in a 1970 service manual it is all spelled out on what combo had what rad number
