Vin number and body shell

Does the bill have the vin number on it if so go and try to title it no one is going to look at the body numbers unless you are going to sell it.

Are you sure the car is a 1969 because if the car is a 1968 those numbers would not match.

Washington will give you a provisional title for 3 years but only after you make the car drivable and pass the state police safety inspection. If it's just a body, sell it or part it. Too much trouble in that state.

Yeah I’ll get handled thanks :-3

Am I understanding you correct? You have radiator support and trunk gutter #'s that match each other, a missing dash VIN plate (this would be riveted on). You do have a fender tag, but these #'s don't match the body? Have you looked thoroughly inside the car for a broadcast sheet? Maybe post up pictures of what you have. Hopefully like stated above, you have a 1968 car. The numbering system changed between 1868 and 1969.

This is true - 68 does not have the VIN stamped in the body. I looked at a number of 68RR's and kept getting confused as why the stamping never matched until I found out it was the SO stamped in the trunk lip and radiator support.

Well it has the tail lights and front grill looking like a 69 so I’m wondering they just use the body as a donor the vin on the car indicates a RR
