Looks really clean!

Whenever I see an 'old car' ANY 'old car' sitting in a parking lot with the windows down, I automatically think its owned by someone who thinks its just an old car and it doesn't matter. When I was driving my wagon, it didn't matter how hot out it was, windows were up when I wasn't around.

Not something I'd drive or buy
but looks pretty solid/clean for what it is

I remember them when brand new, the thing that I didn't like was the big 7" headlights, especially since that was the year that the Monza etc. first introduced rectangular lights. I wish they came out with something like this:

New a guy that had a Gremlin and made it into like a Subaru Brat. Was in the late 70's.

When I married my first wife, she had a 75...not an X though and I wondered who would own one. Wasn't long before I found out LOL. Thing is, if you've never driven one at 80 mph, you have no idea! Pretty much NO wind noise and NO blind spots either and it rode good :D Did I like it? Naw but it did have some cool qualities. Not breaking down wasn't one of them......biggest piece of crap I ever got married to besides my 2nd wife!
