Anyone dealt there? Looking for a Rural Mail Delivery vehicle to use in Northeastern, Pa. 4WD. Right Hand Drive.

Gonna be passing by there, is it worth a stop? I’m ignorant of JDM rules etc. Was originally looking for a Jeep. Thanks.

This is first info I have seen where they are now importing complete cars. I have bought and installed many JDM engines and trannys. Of course there are several companies importing these engines/trans into North American, prices do vary. In case you are not aware of how this works, Japan has strict rules on "old cars". When a car there hits a certain age, 7 to 10 years I have heard, they require you to pay for a very expensive inspection in order to keep driving it. It is cheaper to turn in the car and buy a new one in most all applications. Japan is a small island and most of the cars only have 30 to 40 k miles. They literally take a saber saw and and cut the motors/trans/ecu s and wiring out of the cars, ship them abroad and crush the car. Appears they now can ship out the whole car. Some of those are high dollar models that are in great condition, very low miles. Let us know if you can purchase one at Irmo or you have to put in an order for what you want .

All of the vehicle sold in Japan are right hand drive. That makes is really easy for them to have vehicles in stock.

This is the 2005 Jeep Liberty with 136k needing to be replaced. It’s been problematic with the last being a parking brake issue causing it to be towed. No parts available to repair so it’s (the brake) has been disabled. I’ll report back after we check out this place in South Carolina.

Have you tried Subaru?

Look up on government auctions many vehicles on there I'm sure. With the electric cars being pushed. You may find a mail delivery jeep. Just a thought

I just had a customer in the store a few weeks ago driving a brand new Jeep 4 door Wrangler with right hand drive. Said he special ordered it and took close to 5 months to get. Hell I didn't even know you could get for here in the states.
He doesn't deliver anything, just wanted one to be different, probably doesn't use drive up much....

Duncans Imports has dozens of Japanese Domestic Models for sale. I know several people who've bought cars from them . Theyy even have several Mitsubishi Jeeps for sale.

She ended up with this. 2000. 129k. RHD. $8500. Hope it isn’t gray market. Somehow got it inspected in Pa.
