Main subject is the Mercury but I see a Mustang AND an unknown Station Wagon. I found these while wandering aimlessly around my new neighborhood. The wife hates when I yell STOP.

The station wagon looks like a ‘64 or ‘65 Ford Falcon.

That's why I bought the four storage lifts, to get all my cars out of sight! It failed though because I bought more cars! Lol

The usual….. garage is never large enough, fence not high enough and our appetite for these machines unrelenting.

Maybe this tread can be used for newly photographed vehicles. We all have past photos, probably a million or two between us all.

I already spotted a late 60’s early 70’s 4-door Chevelle with Cragers Mag wheels. A clean running car.

I'm thinking about a storage lift. 112" floor to ceiling. Charger is 55" tall. Daytona is 50" tall. Leaves me 7" for clearance, and load rail thickness.

Can anyone with a lift (a 4 post) measure the thickness of the parking rails for me? It's gonna be tight...but I'd like to find out BEFORE shelling out thousands of $$ that it won't fit lol

Also distance between rails I suppose. Peak of the Daytona roof may fit between the rails...

Mine has runners that are 4-3/8” high and the space between runners is 39-1/2”.

Found this on a back road today. It appears to be out by the road for sale. No one home so I’ll stop by later.

I'm jealous of you folks with enough land to park on a wide open lawn. I need to get out of the city....

Keep these pics coming! I love seeing these cars on the road, but there's also something beautiful and artistic about seeing cars parked like this off the road in and among nature, running or not. It's almost like they're part of the landscape. I dig it.

This is my favorite. Real F6, A12, 4-speed car that was sitting in a backyard for about three decades. All black 71 383 RR next to it. Both recently moved and hopefully being resurrected now (not my cars).

Do Junk Yards count?

Absolutely junk yard cars are welcome.

This could be used as hunting practice. It’s easy to spot the overpopulated gm’s and fords, anyone can shoot them. The Mopar Hunter has to stay keen and focused. Mopars are rarer and wiley and sometimes hidden in dense cover.

Hunting your favorite pray is tricky work, one could drag home a button buck (a Buick) or stinkin’ doe, out of season, pay a fine (the Chevy Citation) but what the discerning Pentastar Sportsman really wants is equal to this……..

UPDATE
Went back today and was able to talk to the owner. Not for sale. He told me some great stories. Glad he is keeping it. 400 runs good and he just had the transmission rebuilt. He said the color was Basin blue. Need door panels and the paint needs some love. Over all a nice 72 road runner. 1D159460-B3C0-4B8C-A789-705977334878.jpeg
