Hey all, I guess I did not pay attention enough on how the center grille attaches? I got the center bracket still attached to the grille I know where that goes but nothing else lines up for the 4 other bolts? Anyone have pictures how this attaches? I have the 66 cornet/charger manual and they kind of skip this step. Any help would be appreciated, I searched the internet and ebay for mounting brackets and nothing is coming up so decided to make the post. Sorry if I missed it somewhere! Got my Charger back from the paint booth and he removed this and thought everything that was removed should be in the trunk... There was nothing that looked like should go up there in there?

This is on page 11of the FSM supplement, which is specific to the 66-67 Charger and the hemi. Hope this is what you are looking for.

Might be missing the 2 end L tab brackets. On the top.
The hard mount bolts got to the bottom.

There are two L shaped brackets that have a little tiny locating tab sticking up on top which corresponds to a small hole next to where the bolt goes through from the top. If you get that tiny tab to locate into that hole you have it together correctly. Tab goes into that small hole in between the two bolts.

Oh perfect! that is what I am missing! I don't have those top clips that screw into the grille first. I kept looking for a drop down tab or whatever to screw into the grill... I will post some photos. Ha what's chance those brakets are easy to come by?

This is the book I was working from. Where did you get the book that clearly shows the charger grille? I was told my book works with both and is supposed to have Charger details, it does sometimes. Anyone know what size of bolts I'm looking for?

No chance at all. lol. Actually, I have never looked for them before so.....maybe. Hell, what would you call them?

I expect it would be dead simple to make your own. Just an exercise in sheet metal cutting and bending.

All of the bolts across the top and bottom support bars are 1/4"x20 and about 1/2" long . They are short so that the buckets don't clip them on the way around when revolving. THOSE mounting bolts for the grill however don't really matter for length as they are behind the stationary grill. Like a 1/4" bolt x 1" long with a lock nut.

I have what you need if you are looking for those two L brackets for the top left and right mounts. Also looks like your center bracket has a broken lower tab that bolts to the bottom grill support. Anything to trade or ?

I guess I'm not sure what you are looking for? Apparently I can't send a message anymore since I reached my limit. Didn't know about that one.

Anything and everything. Delete some of your messages to PM and see if that works. I am helping to find "stuff" for several that are working on a 66 or 67 Charger.

I did find them finally. So got lucky. I do have some extra stuff I will see what all I got. I know I will have other stuff I will need so I will keep you in mind! Now I have to try and chase this huge electrical problem... No power anywhere and no gauges working... Great...
