Hello everybody here! I was just lucky enough to purchase a '68 Roadrunner with a bunch of extra parts. I hate the term barn find as it's usually untrue and overused. But I was lucky enough to know someone whose family had suffered a loss and the estate had to get rid of some possessions. Having finished restoring a '72 H/O I was ready for another project. Retired with time on my hands I took possession of the car, 2 engines (440 & 383 Magnum) 2 trans (manual 4 speeds one being an 18 spline) and 2 rear ends (Dana 60 and an 8 & 3/4). I have some options on the build it seems. Here are some pics of the cars in the storage facility and on the way home to Cincinnati.

Welcome to FBBO from Ontario. This just proved that there are still Muscle cars out there waiting to be saved. Good luck with you RR project.

Welcome to the site. You picked a great car to restore. These are solid performers and widely respected.
For the purposes of accuracy, The name is two words. Road Runner. This was a play on words by Plymouth but was rumored to be based on the one word name of the bird, the Roadrunner.
Oddly, the emblems/badges of the car often appeared in lower case letters.......road runner.

What are your plans for the car?

Welcome aboard from close to Akron.

Welcome and what's the scoop on the AAR?
The AAR is with the previous owner's sister's family. Her husband has restored several cars which have been show winners, but no plan to restore this Cuda. It's good enough to just make roadworthy and go with it. Pretty nice find
