It could be a car that cost too much to restore, it could be a massage that went too far or a house where the neighbors were complete ********....
What do you regret buying?

*The burrito at Chipotle.
I have a pretty tough stomach but the new outlet that opened up close to here has a different formula for their "hot" sauce. NOT good.

*ACE hardware house brand products. Nearly every one of them has been a disappointment.

*Synthetic oil with HIGH detergent.

Years ago I bought a sponsorship on a race car (dirt circle track racing). The guys wife worked for me so I felt obligated. The ad was almost the whole side of the car and I didn't know this guy had no idea how to drive a racecar, it was an embarrassing long season!

I regret buying my 2017 Yukon XL.

It used to be that a Suburban (or cousin, a Yukon XL) were essentially trucks with a permanent cap. My 97 Suburban was a workhorse and was great. For example, it had big D hooks in the interior that I used several times to carry an engine.

My 2017 Yukon XL had lots of goofy options added to it, including storage beneath the floor. But the D hooks could now only hold maybe 50 pounds (they were wimpy). It was no longer a work vehicle, but more intended for soccer moms. It also had the infamous GM transmission issues, so it went away in 2020 and I bought my Ram (which is great).

Back in the mid-eighties I bought an open car trailer WITHOUT brakes. I only kept that POS for a couple of years.

Back in the 1980's me and a high school buddy bought a 1968 Corvair
We were going to fix it up and make a buck
Lesson learned
At least it did not cost too much
Ended up trading it for the use of a dump truck for a weekend
