Help all my B body friends. My friend Russ needs a 1968 B body dash pad color Burgandy dark red. Anybody got one. Anybody know of company restoring dash pads? Thanks for any help Bob Horman

Bob at ABC Moparts does the best resto on the stock steel core for the dash pads. Got my 68 version from him.

Top or lower pad Bob?
I have both in blue. They could use some TLC but useable original steel cores.

I’m sure there may be better ways but - when I restored my 68 GTX the interior was pretty much perfect - but for some reason I went nuts and had to have all leather interior. So I lifted a screen shot of “Bullett“ that beautiful gray bird off the net and found a guy in LA to recreate that look for me on my seats etc. Well why stop there I had him do every inch of the interior including my perfect dash pad in the leather. I went to a leather supply company here in LA and hand picked a premium hide that had been dyed perfectly matching the original color - burgundy. When people see that X the two primary things they ogle are the beautiful paint color and the leather interior. Point bEing - not that you have to do what I did - but when it gets down to nut cuttin time and you haven’t found an original - you can always recover in leather or a matching vinyl. Just a thought….. I know exactly what you’re looking for and they can be scarce as hens teeth….
