yeah we've been getting hit hard with rain here
thank god or mother nature
at my place it's not 'the usual snow'
it's been too warm for that
we've gotten like 48"s of rain in 45-50 days or so
(we average 41" annually, not in 45 days)
add that to the snow we got back in Nov. well over 50"s+
we aren't close to the end of winter either,
Jan & Feb are our wettest months here

a ****-ton of snow 20 miles upcountry

thank goodness I'm on high ground, at an elevation
& not flooded like the Valley or Bay,
**** flows downhill
flush twice

we needed it
but not all in this short time period

mother nature is one cruel B-I-T-C-H at times
& there's absolutely nothing you can do about it
except plan for it & hold back the water/runoff for dryer years
(Dumbasses, catch some of this runoff)

I love the sun & warmth,
normally 300+ days of great weather anually
it's the only real reason, I still live here

hunker down more of it still coming
clean the drains and culverts, when you can for flow
so it doesn't back up or flood

We could use a little time between storms, but since we get what Mother Nature sends us time between the storms isn't on the agenda...

We could also use a few more reservoirs, last time California built one was 1980....

I hope everyone in the hardest hit areas (BF-6) are doing okay... Worst thing where I'm at is a few flooded streets & a few trees down.... Oh, the roof of my shop has a small leak....Waaa!!!

I always loved California it was such a beautiful state and including all the way up to Oregon.

Been there only a couple times and was impressed with its beauty & friendly people.

I especially loved the fresh fruits and Vegetables there throughout the year....

I imagine the wine country must be devastated also.

The global warming is devastating both sides of both the country where a large populations live.

Recently my youngest daughter moved from San Fransisco to New York...

She loves the diverse of cultures on both sides... like no where else in the world.

i sure hope are leaders start working together getting a handle on what is happening soon. (ha ha)

Maby congress need a bunch of sunlamps to brighten up there gloomy atmosphere.

Like......... Let the sunshine in... a attitudes adjustment perhaps.

You seem like a really nice guy - then I read this post about CA and our ”leaders“ etc and started wondering if maybe you were from Planet X - Curious how much you really know about this (yes) beautiful but satan inspired sewer of insanity called CA. This is the reason why I do not post much on b body social media......the troll factor.
