2 groove crankshaft pulley

Has anybody here cut a 2 groove factory crank pulley down to a single groove? Yes it would be ran in a lathe bolted to a fixture.

If you own a lathe and it doesn't mess with it's integrity, go for it but sure wouldn't pay a machine shop to do it....unless they ain't charging you for it. Just make sure the groove matches with what you are using it for.
