I’m 60 and got my *** beat on a regular basis as a kid, at home and school.
It may have turned me into a borderline psycho, but at least I’m productive and can function in a polite society.

Our youngest son got treated pretty gently, but he really didn’t behave too badly.

He’s 26 and recently informed my wife that we had “socially castrated” him by standing him in the corner.

Hahaha!

Well, there was one once. Still pockets here and there.

...or just leave the metro areas. Visit the country. Rule of thumb I've found over the years is, the farther the houses are apart....the nicer/better the people are.

I live out in the country, 6 miles from a small town of less than 7K people and I still run into dickfores!
