Below are two plugs from our 1968 satellite dash board. The second I believe is the ignition switch plug.

But what is the first?

All the wires were cut except one yellow wire, but somebody marked the location of the missing wires on the plug itself.

Read the wiring diagram and the colors will spell it out . I'd say headlight switch... but if there's brown wires is wipers.

I agree...a factory service manual is one of the best tools you can have for working on your vehicle.

The problem I run into is that someone removed all but one of the wires from the first plug. Lol

But from researching it. It appears that the lower picture is ignition switch and the upper one is headlights.

Currently I’m pulling all of the wiring out of the car and sorting out what pieces are useable and what are not.

Thanks. Eric

I'm gonna say first one is headlights, the other is wipers. Ignition one should be round and have 2 clips on it, plus some pretty heavy gauge wires in it.

Thank you so much sir!!!!

I believe we found our culprits.

I’m still not sure why someone ripped all the wires out of the headlight switch plug. But all that’s left is the yellow. Lol.

And the ignition switch plug is completely missing all together.

I think what I might do is spend the big money and buy the main harness and fuse box reproduction. And then I will go through clean and rebuild the sub harnesses.

Thank you again so much. I greatly appreciate it. Eric
