Street racing it's all fun and games till someone gets killed

We have a similar problem a few blocks from where we live.

 
They keep closing tracks and this will keep getting bigger. These days though a lot of people can't handle a car or know where a safe place or time to "street race" is...

A kid from my HS class was a passenger in a friends car speeding in a residential area. An elderly man didn't realize the danger and pulled in front of that friend. That man died, the the kid hit the windshield. That kid Scott, was paralyzed below the waist. I ran into him in the nineties briefly, wheel chair bound. Scott past away in his late fifties.

Yep **** happens in places that it never should.. I went to school with a kid who drinking on the railroad tracks playing chicken with a train. He lost, got hit and broke his back which paralyzed him at 19 in his fifties now been living in a wheel chair.
