In 2007, a friend of mine (Jon Collins) and I met for lunch at the Toro Place Cafe (I'm the taller guy). It is located on Hwy 68 between Salinas and Monterey, California. Watching a 1980 movie today on youtube with Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase "Seems Like Old Times", I found that in clip 4:20-5:50 there is a scene in the movie were they stop for gas in the same spot.

If it doesn't load, then click on "watch on youtube" and it shoud play there.

I'll have to take your word for that.

The wife and I go here when we go Wild games. It's been in some movies, Mighty Ducks mostly. Last time we only had to wait 10 minutes. Good greasy spoon, only had breakfast.

He did.. But NZ didn't let him play it..
NZ won't let us do much anymore due to its wokeness. Many YouTube videos are banned here.

I came out the other morning needing my morning double-shot coffee. I presses 'Short Black' on the machine and a message popped up saying 'That's Racist!', and it just gave me a flat white.

I was mildly impressed because I didn't realise they can do exclamation marks in digital form.

NZ dog and cheep cafe.

Couple years after Field of Dreams movie came out, had to take a biz trip out near it, around Dyersville IA I think. Only a few people were there. Pitched a few balls over home plate to a couple kids - looked back to the corn field and nobody came walking out; damn.
