A view from the arch in St. Louis. The old courthouse in the picture has tunnels under it that run to the river. Slaves would come by boat, walk to the courthouse through the tunnel to be sold. In 1846 the slave Dred Scott sued for his and his wife's freedom as they had been held as slaves in free states. All of the trials, including a Missouri Supreme Court hearing, were held in the Old Courthouse. The last slave auction held at the Old Courthouse took place in 1861.

Meramec Caverns is the name for a 4.6-mile cavern system near Stanton, Missouri. The caverns were formed from the erosion of large limestone deposits over millions of years. This was the original opening.

I used to go to St Louis for the Supercross races. I took the family there and walked from the arch to Union station. I was pretty cool to a man that grew up in a town of 500 people. I go to St Louis yearly for new equipment training. I hope next year to take the Plymouth.

I hope in 2024 we get rid of the puppets in the Whitehouse, and regain power in the government. Then maybe they'll extend the current immigration border to capture California as well. They've been allowed to push their pussy wimped ideals and agenda's on the rest of America for far to long.

Fortunately, my Dodge / Cummins is to old to give a shite.

That is the perfect truck, in my opinion!!!! I'm officially jealous!!

Caterpillar went through the same stuff 20 years earlier with their "accert" first generation smog engines. A few years later, their second generation emission engine led to an avalanche of warranty claims, and they were smart enough to leave the highway truck market in 2008, and let Cummins carry on with the fight. The 6NZ series CAT in my 2000 Peterbilt 379 used the same technology, without the emission controls, and had 1.7 million miles on the ECM when I retired it, after 16 years of reliable operation on my watch.

That was first car even the same colors.. was 383-4brl car. Bought when I was 14 put a 440 in it got it all together but sadly wrecked it two months before I turned 16. Gathered all the parts to fix it never did. Put it in the collector’s guide. Sold it to a guy in Nova Scotia in the late 80’s who worked for a large tire company. He met me in Maine at Jim’s auto parts. Came accross the ferry with a car dolly the. Drive the long way around cause he said it was too expensive to go the ferry route with the car… Someone may even know on this board who it was…
