Automotive designs that look similar to other cars...

When I was a kid, my Dad used to comment how some cars on the road looked like other cars from other manufacturers.
I'm sure you have noticed that too.
The recessed rear window in a 68-70 Charger looks like the rear window in a 66-67 Chevelle or GTO.
The angled taillights in a 69 Satellite/Road Runner look like a 67-69 Dart.
The 71-74 B bodies took after the 68-72 GM Chevelle, GTO, Skylark and Cutlass.
I wonder if the roof and rear window of the 66-67 Charger were designed after seeing the AMC Marlin.
What similarities have you seen between different cars?

Some Foreign jobs borrowed the cool, mean, distinct LED outline on the front of Modern Chargers. A clear rip off.

HUH ?? Nowadays, EVERYTHING looks the same !! The entire freakin' car/van/suv, etc. Years ago, maybe styling cues were adopted. But, today, everything is cookie-cutter. I can recognize older vehicles within a year of it's origin. Today... I can't tell one make from another, yet alone year.

When viewing auction shows on TV, it sometimes takes me a second or two to ID the make as the car rolls on the block....so many lookalikes.

Some have said that the 71-74 Charger front bumper and grille had a Pontiac vibe due to the divider in the middle.
The '70 Coronet front end looked Pontiac to me as well.
The fenders and quarter panels of an AMC Javelin.....

...Look like a 68-82 Corvette. For that matter, so did the Opel GT.
