Reminds me of my wife's first car, 1967 Fairlane. She was so proud that her 390 was bigger than my 383. But the Ford was a bit of a dog, would hardly spin the tires on grass.
My friend had 66 Fairlane GT 390 4 speed, in 1970. It certainly would wear out tires. Paid 1500.00. Was looking at a 1967 440 R/T. Guy wanted 1900.00. My friend offered him 1700.00. The guy said 1750.00. My friend walked on it.Reminds me of my wife's first car, 1967 Fairlane. She was so proud that her 390 was bigger than my 383.
