Everytime I see photos of old movie stars or whoever from back in the day, I always wonder how old they look now, or wonder if they're even alive. It's a curse.

The one thing that I notice when looking at beautiful ladies from decades ago, compared to nowadays, is how beautiful and yet minimal their makeup was. Eyes, eyebrows, lips looked amazing. Makeup had subtle soft fades instead of the strong, harsh colors and Sharpie-marker eyebrows you see everywhere. I just don't get this current eyebrow obsession with the sharp lines contrasting so much with the natural skin and hair tones. I honestly don't know of a man who actually thinks this looks pretty. It's just women competing with other women.

I get a good dose of this now that my high school started holding annual events after the 50 year reunion. Prom Queen and court 53 years after graduation. On the other hand, the GTX still looks like it did in ‘71.

Age is one thing, but when young girls put makeup on that makes them look worse...that's another.
