Iodine works really well, I used to use it when I cut my hands a lot.

Peroxide actually burns the skin and prevents healing. I’m not saying it doesn’t have a use, but my go to is alcohol (or iodine) followed by neosporin then bandage.We always went for the peroxide bottle.

Paper towel and black electrical tape.
I've absolutely used paper towels and masking tape.
