WE still have a NHRA Drag racing going on here,
Pro-mods running 5.70s at 250+
P/S running NA 500cid 1400hp 6.50s at like 210+
P/SM running some 6.70s at like 200+ now
330mph+ 3.60's-3.70s Top Fuelers, 12' tall flames
330mph+ 3.80s-4.0s Funny Cars, running
2 more races till the finals Las Vegas Oct 31st - Nov 3rd
& two weeks after that World Finals in Pomona pts & 1/2 Nov 14th - 17th

NHRA they're the real cream of the crop, in drag racing
even if it's a dying breed, fields are getting harder & harder to fill
even only 16 cars, nucken' futs

I remember the days we had 27 tracks just here in Calif.
never had to even leave the state, until the early 90s
(I was a lil' dude, but got hooked, raced 35+ years after that)
64+ F/Cs or 64 T/F dragsters & doing cackle fests
when the real Pro-Stock & crowd pleasers of Fuel Altered ran still too
