November 11, Remembrance Day, unless Half-masting occurs at the National War Memorial or a place where remembrance is being observed, then Half-masting can occur at 11:00 or according to the prescribed order of service

My big brother. Herc squadron commander. "Major McCool". My Father was also considered a "vet", although he only made it to New Brunswick for boot camp after lying about his age and WWII ended before his group got deployed.

A friend of mine had one of these. It's a DB2 Swift. After he retired from the Air Force, he and his wife traveled around the country racing. He was a World War II bomber pilot who got into sports car racing in Europe before being sent home. In his 80s, Woody Adams was still passing aircraft physicals and sometimes taking fast time of the day at the auto cross. It's a 1300 pound car.
