My former brother-in-law drove an identical twin to that '69 Hemi Road Runner as a company car when he was the service manager at the local Plymouth dealership. Those were the days!

Found in the wall at work. April 19 1971.
Bales had the very first Plymouth Horizons offered for sale in the fall of 1977. My uncle bought one of the first sold. A stripper Horizon with a 1.7 VW motor. I think he paid $3100 for it.
No dealers in Louisville had Horizons for sale at that time.
Bales is still in business today, but they are owned by a mega conglomerate.
I built a setup like that for Anheuser Busch for one of their traveling exhibits, but the beer was free. I had a leftover beer tap they gave me, I used it on my bar.
I think that I still have some shims used to adjust the valves on a VW powered Horizon in my tool cabinet.
Always remember that "OBEN" on a Horizon VW head gasket does NOT mean "OVER"
