Beautiful Q5 Bright Turquoise Metallic 1969 Coronet 440

Beautiful car except for the wheels. Not a fan of that Super Trick style.

I call BS on the original paint with "factory" clear coat....... maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so

looks like a restored car to me

Agreed. No clear coat back in 69 that I have ever seen. Love the color though.

He explained it was special ordered for a photo shoot. He has the second fender tag with an S.
V0* is the special paint code (unless you want a non-factory color and then it's 999). V05 is buffed. V09 is special order but no mention about clear coat.

The S was for stripe.

That's been one of my favorite Mopar colors. There was a 69 Dart GT running around here with that paint.

Whatever. Looks good to me. Not many cars autographed by one of the great Mopar icons, let alone 3 or 4.

Funny, at about 40 sec. mark the engine revs a bit but no one is behind the wheel.

That color is Q5. Low production but a factory color.

I LOVE Q4 and Q5!

his definition of "survivor" seems a little loose to me

yea, that car is restored -maybe- is be clear coated over original paint in places (I doubt it). I don't see any body sealant between the fenders and inner fenders, which is another clue it's been apart.

Great looking car by itself. Doesn't need embellishment

There is a member here with an original paint survivor '69 GTX in the same color combination. It used to come to come to Carlisle with a previous owner, and was stunning, but not remotely as shiny as that Coronet.
